First-Ever Opportunity for Pet Owners to Interact with and Learn from Leading Providers and Practitioners of Integrative Health Care Products and Services
Fitchburg, MA (June 1, 2009) – Are you in search of more natural ways to care for your pets? Have you ever wondered if your animal companions could benefit from integrative approaches such as acupuncture, homeopathy and nutrition?
The Integrative Health Pet Expo (IHPE) is a two day health and wellness festival that will provide answers to these questions by offering a unique opportunity for animal caretakers to explore integrative products and services and attend lectures given by leading veterinarians in integrative medicine.
Keynote speakers Jean Dodds, DVM and Marty Goldstein, DVM are scheduled to present.
Dr. Dodds is President of Hemopet/Pet Life-Line, a non-profit greyhound rescue/blood donor/adoption facility servicing North American veterinary clinics. She teaches animal health care professionals and pet owners about hematology and blood banking, immunology, endocrinology, nutrition and holistic medicine.
Dr. Marty Goldstein and his staff of veterinarians practice at Smith Ridge Veterinary Center – a state-of-the-art facility located in South Salem, New York. The practice specializes in the use of integrative medicine and complementary modalities for maintaining animal wellness and treating chronic and degenerative illnesses, especially cancer.
The IHPE will take place on Thursday, September 10th from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 11th from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriot located in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Tickets are available for one day ($50.00) or both days ($75.00) of the event and include access to all of the lectures and the exhibit hall.
