Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton is excited to announce that Especially for Pets has selected our shelter to be their First Quarter 2015 Charity Nail Clipping program recipient! Especially for Pets supports animals in need by offering nail clipping for free, in exchange for a donation to a pre-selected local animal welfare organization. When you bring your dog or cat to one of their groomers to have their nails trimmed during the first quarter of 2015, you’ll be helping the animals at Baypath Humane Society.

The funds raised through this program will enable the shelter to build a creative new enrichment space that will have a positive impact on our animals’ lives. “For a long time we’ve dreamed of creating a "home like" room at the shelter so our dogs can have a place to relax away from their pens and escape the hectic shelter environment,” said Elizabeth Jefferis, Executive Director of Baypath Humane Society. “This quiet space will be set up just like a living room—providing a refuge for anxious dogs, an opportunity for one-on-one bonding time with people, a comfortable place for potential adopters to get to know each dog better, and much much more!”

To support this goal, please bring your pet to have their nails trimmed at Especially for Pets in Acton, Canton, Medway, Newton, Sudbury, Wayland, or Westborough between January 1 and March 31, 2015. Please call ahead to check the groomer’s availability. You can find location and contact information at or by calling 617-964-7387.
