Acton’s Grand Re-Opening Celebration

A grand time was had by all as we celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of our Acton location on March 28th and 29th.

The festivities started on Friday, March 28th with a Ribbon Cutting which was attended by the Board of Directors of the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce. Customers and Chamber members enjoyed a luncheon from TC Lando’s and brought home goodie bags for their dogs and cats!  A special guest for the event was Miso, the Acton police department’s canine, along with his handler, Officer Dan Holway.

Officer Holway presented district store manager, Erny Isabelle, and store manager, Patti White, with a plaque to thank Especially for Pets for support of the town’s first canine. Especially for Pets is supplying Officer Holway with free Nature’s Variety dog food and a discount on all supplies purchased for Miso for the entire length of his service to the Town of Acton.

On Saturday, March 30th, the party really got underway as approximately 300 people visited our store to see our new look, visit with friends, enjoy the refreshments and sample goodies supplied by a number of different popular manufacturers. On hand were representatives from Dogswell Treats, Wellness Pet Foods, and Weruva Pet Foods. Also, local jewelry designer, Sleeping Bear Jewelry was selling her handmade works, and Paw Prints in Clay (a local ceramic artist who captures an impression/print of pet’s paws in clay). Finally, greyhounds and volunteers from Greyhound Friends were on hand to meet and greet our customers and meet potential adopters.

If you have not yet visited our Acton store, please stop by to say hello!
