Especially for Pets in the
Community
The Adoption Initiative
Especially for Pets has teamed up with local non-profits and rescue
organizations to promote pets available for adoption as well as to raise
awareness about the work being done in the rescue community. It is our
ultimate goal to educate our customers about what the specific
organizations do, to collect donations for their use and, ultimately to
help the organizations to place homeless animals in permanent, loving
homes.
Each Especially for Pets store has partnered with a different local
non-profit from January through June. You can visit our stores to check
out the Adoption Board to see photos of the animals available for adoption
and/or pick up a copy of their ‘Wish List’ and make a donation to support
the organization of your choice.
Here is a list by store and their partner’s wish list:

& Billerica Cat Care Coalition
The
Billerica Cat Care Coalition (BCCC), started in 2004 by concerned
residents, is a cat rescue and adoption organization which assists feral
(wild) and abandoned cats and their kittens.
Their mission is to
reduce the suffering and death of animals in their town by implementing
the Trap/Neuter/Release (TNR) Program for feral cats. They provide them
with feeding programs, promote spay/neuter of all companion animals,
educate the public on local animal issues, and offer advice/assistance to
residents dealing with homeless cat situations or needing to re-home a
cat. They are a 501(c)(3) organization, meaning your donation is
tax-deductible!
Billerica Cat Care
Coalition has signed the "Declaration of No Kill Movement in The United
