THANKS FOR VOTING US #1!

The votes are in, the ballots have been counted, and Especially for Pets is a winner!  Community Newspaper Company (CNC) readers have spoken, and we have been selected as a winner in 11 categories in CNC’s Reader’s Choice Awards 2006 for Best Pet Shop.

Over a period of four weeks in January and February, CNC published ballots in many newspapers throughout Eastern Massachusetts and online. They asked their readers to vote for their favorites in more than 75 local and regional categories. Thousands of ballots were received, the voluntary results were tallied, and we are thrilled to be the recipient of these awards, because the votes come from our community and our customers.

We were chosen as the #1 local choice of the 2006 Readers' Choice Awards as voted by our readers for their locations in Acton, Medway, Sudbury, Wayland and Westborough, and as Honorable Mention in Newton. We were chosen for a regional award in Acton, Medway, Newton, Sudbury, and Westborough. 

Charles Goodrich, senior vice president of Community Newspaper Company explained that the Readers’ Choice Awards were created “to give everyone a chance to give a vote of thanks and congratulations to some of the people and establishments who bring outstanding service and value to our lives. The survey results offer some very useful insider tips.”
