On behalf of Emerson Hospital, the Emerson Hospital Auxiliary membership and walk day volunteers, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous donation of assorted dog toys and chews that were given to the four-legged walkers that participated in our Community Cures, Emerson walk for Cancer held on June 2, 2002.  It was the perfect day for a 5/10k walk with clear, beautiful skies and cool temperatures.  Our fantastic walkers raised over $14,000.00 for cancer programs and initiatives at the Bethke Cancer Center in Concord.

As always, this fund raising event would not have been possible or as profitable without the continued support of corporations and individuals such as yourselves.  Donations of goods, services, facilities, talents and manpower are what make the difference in a successful event.  So thank you , again, for choosing this cancer walk as one of your charitable contributions for 2002.

Mark your calendars on June 1, 2003 for the third annual Community Cures, Emerson Walk for Cancer.  We look forward to having you join us for this very worthwhile event.
