Underdog ResQ is a 501(c)(3) equal opportunity dog rescue that saves good dogs from bad situations regardless of breed and age. They are the recipient of our nail clipping donations for the first quarter of 2014. Their priority is to help dogs in high kill shelters, as well as animal control agencies and animal hospitals without adoption programs.  They also provide assistance to humane societies that have limited resources or just have a tough time placing certain dogs; including dogs that become extremely depressed in a shelter atmosphere. Each dog gets proper veterinary care, training and temporary family to keep him safe. Meet some dogs and their volunteers today!

Meet volunteer Puppy Raisers and see if your family has what it takes to take an active part in changing the life of a disabled person for the better. Puppy Raisers provide a safe and loving home to assistance dogs for the first 18 months of their lives. They also take them to obedience classes, offer them a healthy diet and socialization opportunities, and give them lots of love! Ultimately these puppies will learn how to retrieve items from the floor, turn light switches on and off, open and close drawers, and pull a wheelchair.
