Pet Rock Festival is celebrating its 15th anniversary and brings the best animal fest to New England. Featuring all your favorites this year including the doggie water park, kids games and rides, vendors, food, and contests. It will also include low-cost micro chipping and rabies shots from VCA, pics with your pets, mascots, a big raffle, an agility course, Good Canine Citizenship tests, the New England Frisbee Dogs, a demo by Mass Vest-a-Dog, the Adoptable Pet Parade and lots more. Tickets are $12 each for adults and $5 for children age 12 and under.
Proceeds from the festival are distributed to Massachusetts-based animal welfare organizations, including shelters, cruelty watchdogs and rescue leagues. Regular recipients of the festival include the National Association for Humane and Environmental Education (NAHEE), Foster Parrots, Animal Legal Defense Fund and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA).
So far, Pet Rock Fest has distributed thousands to worthy animal causes in New England. They have also given to groups such as Mass. Vest-A Dog, the Animal Legal Defense Fund, the Worcester Animal Rescue League and the Second Chance Animal Shelter.
