Emily joined the Sudbury team in September 2012. She graduated from Becker College with an Associate’s Degree in Animal Science. Prior to coming to Especially for Pets, she spent many years working at an animal hospital and was also a grooming salon manager. Emily’s love is her rescued three year old Chihuahua from North Carolina. She loves grooming and plans on making it a lifelong career.
Erin started at Especially for Pets in 2005, where she combined her passion for pets and her business degree by managing the Wayland store. Her prior experience of being a veterinary technician and a fundraising/events coordinator for an animal shelter fits in perfectly with her career at Especially for Pets.
Erin belongs to her rescued Dalmatian mix, Asher, as well as her two rescued house bunnies Cloe, a Rex mix and Dolce, a dwarf-dutch mix. Asher enjoys going to work with Erin every day and takes his job as official greeter and quality control in Sudbury very seriously. He can be found lounging in the Sudbury store or supervising Erin while she works.
Alicia joined Especially for Pets in Acton in 2009. Having worked for large retail chains since the age of 16, the smaller, local business pace appealed to her. Alicia truly enjoys working with pets and making them her number one priority. With a large focus on raw diets and supplements, Alicia is always expanding her knowledge for her own dog's health and shares it with customers. Reggie and Lulu Belle, her two Labradors, love to run, play fetch, and swim no matter how cold it is outside. Alicia also enjoys running, shopping and reading. In the future she hopes to foster for unwanted Labradors—educating others on their energy and intelligence is the most rewarding part of her job.
Lora came to the United States from Russia in 1988 where she groomed her Standard Poodle as a hobby—a hobby that soon grew into a passion. She joined Especially for Pets in 1997 and now has over 20 years of experience and can groom any breed of dog.
Lora has a background in computer science but decided to make grooming her profession as she loves working with animals and making them glamorous.
Nancy joined Especially for Pets as a groomer in 2007. She earned a degree in Small Animal Veterinary medicine in 2001 in Brazil and worked in the field until 2004 when she moved to the United States.
Max, her Yorkshire Terrier, accompanies her to work everyday and enjoys meeting new people. Nancy is also a proud owner of two adopted cats, Eve and Eva. Pets are her life and she enjoys being and working with them!
