  • “We have been customers of Especially for Pets since we first got our Great Dane four years ago. He is an EFP poster child, having been both obedience trained and raised on EFP merchandise. The premium products you offer, the service, information, and smiles you hand out, and the wellness you bring to the community of companion animals in your neighborhood is unparalleled. We cannot express our gratitude enough for doing what you do.” - Sasha S.

Events

There’s always something going on at each of our seven stores that makes it even more fun and rewarding to be a pet owner.

Our goal is to maximize your interaction with your pet by offering a full array of specialty seminars, workshops and events at which you can meet professionals and learn about nutrition, training, health and wellness. They range from meet and greets with local breed rescues to classes on flea and tick prevention, pet massage, and first aid to microchipping and rabies clinics and more. Events are offered every month in each store and most are complimentary.

Especially for Pets is proud to support local charitable events around New England, too. In fact, one third of our annual marketing budget goes to support these community-centered events.

Carolyn's Canine Massage

Carolyn's Canine Massage

Shrewsbury

Saturday, January 27, 2018 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
(Save to cal)

Small animal massage consists of manipulating the soft tissues of your pet's body to promote overall well-being, relaxation and healing from a variety of physical and emotional conditions. Treat your pup to a complimentary 20-minute massage. Don't have your pup with you? Then pick up some materials and learn a technique or two to help activate your dog's relaxation response.

Carolyn A. Romano, J.D. has over 150 hours of small animal massage training from the renowned Bancroft School of Massage Therapy. These skills are added to her over 25 years of experience using integrative and alternative modalities like Reiki, hypnosis, and shamanic healing practices with individuals and groups. Now, she has expanded her practice to include integrative therapies, like massage, to support the rehabilitation of dogs with physical issues or trauma histories.
