PLAY & BEHAVIOR GROUPS
Wanted: Friendly Puppies to Join
Play/Behavior Group
Exclusively designed for your furry
party animal!
Early experiences with other dogs can
strongly influence your pup’s interaction and feelings towards other dogs.
Early and ongoing socialization is a critical part of a pup’s development,
including play with pups of all ages, breed and size. Offered as a
compliment to our PK and Graduate Puppy training classes, this play group
will provide your pup with a safe group of puppies to play with in a
supervised environment. Our professional dog trainer will lead the group and
teach you how to interpret and react appropriately to your dog’s style of
play. Issues of pack dynamic will be addressed, in addition to encouraging
the fearful pup and redirecting the assertive pup.
Time permitting there will be an
opportunity for brief discussion of typical puppy behaviors

PUPPY 911
Especially for Pets is pleased to
present this personalized service, offered by obedience manager and trainer,
Leslie Zelamsky. This at-home service is geared exclusively towards early
puppy hood issues that arise during the first few days and weeks after your
pup comes home. By visiting with you and your pup in your home, Leslie will
gear her advice towards your specific needs within the setup of your home.
This will help you through the early ruff days and nights.
Understanding your puppy’s individual
temperament is the key to raising a psychologically stable dog. Leslie will
help you understand your puppy’s language and how to respond to him in an
appropriate, fair and effective way. This, in turn, will help to prevent or
alleviate common problems such as housebreaking issues, destructive
behavior, mouthing, possessive behavior over food and objects,
child-directed aggression and separation anxiety. Just one or two sessions
will help establish a personalized plan for you and your family.
Puppy 911 also serves as a bridge to a
successful and fun experience in a group class. Puppy Kindergarten at
Especially for Pets provides a forum where your pup will be properly
socialized and learn basic obedience commands. After just one or two private
sessions with Leslie, you and your pup will arrive at class with a basic
understanding of one another and the beginning of a bond that will promote
learning.
