NAIL CLIPPING CHARITY 2013 Q2
NAIL CLIPPING QUARTERLY FUNDRAISER
Especially for Pets offers free nail clippings on a walk-in basis. Please call ahead for availability. We don’t charge for this service, but in exchange we accept a monetary donation to a local animal shelter or non-profit organization. Four different charities per year are chosen to be the recipient of the nail clipping donations.
Take advantage of this service and help a local charity at the same time! We also encourage you to learn more about the recipient at their in-store Information Days, listed below.
Since the Program’s inception, Especially for Pets has raised $181,172 for charity. Click here to see our list of past recipients.
Second Quarter 2013 Nail Clipping Recipient: Canine Companions for Independence Wounded Veterans Initiative
Founded in 1975, Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships. CCI is the largest non-profit provider of assistance dogs, and is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs, and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people. They have provided assistance dogs to over 3,000 people.
