Dear Ms. Lord,

On behalf of the planning committee for NewtonSERVES 2003, and the Office of Volunteer Services, we thank you so much for your tax-deductible contribution as an Underwriter ($1,000) to make the April 6^th Day of Community Service in Newton a reality!

We were pleased that April 6 was a sunny day and nearly 700 volunteers participated at 32 Project Partner sites around the city. We also have several more projects that re-scheduled and will take place during the next few weeks.

Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to proceed with the planning of this important event to bring together people of all ages in an effort of serving the community and making it a better place to live.

Thank you again for your generosity in helping to make NewtonSERVES 2003 a success!  And we hope you will join us again next year for NewtonSERVES scheduled for Sunday, April 25, 2004!
