Q. What happens to current rewards points? Do they roll over?
A. Yes, points roll over.

Food
Q. How will I earn rewards for food purchases and receive my 13th free food product?
A. You will receive your 13th free food product coupon reward after you have purchased 12 bags, 12 pouches, 12 boxes, 12 frozen or 12 can cases of the same brand. You may not mix species (they must all be either cat or dog food). The average price of your 12 previous purchases will be calculated and you will receive a coupon for that average price. Please see the list of Participating Rewards Brands below. Restrictions apply.

Q. Do I have to purchase the same weight and formula in bags, pouches, boxes and frozen?
A. You are free to mix weight and formulas, as long as it is the same brand and same type of food (bags, pouches, boxes or frozen). You may not mix species (they must all be either cat or dog).

Q. What constitutes a case of cat or dog food?
A. A case is based upon the manufacturer's definition and may be in quantities of 8, 12, 18 or 24. As long as you purchase these quantities of the same brand and size, you are purchasing a case of food.

Q. Can I purchase a can at a time to accumulate a case?
A. Yes, a purchase of one individual can does count toward a case of 8, 12, 18 or 24, as long as it is the same brand and size.

Q. Can I mix and match flavors in a case as long as they are the same brand and size?
A. Yes, as long as you purchase a full case of the same brand and size. A purchase of one can does not count toward a case.

Q: How will I know when I am eligible for my 13th free product reward?
A. A sales associate will inform you at the time of your 12th purchase and a bar code coupon will print out at the end of your sales receipt. The average price of your 12 previous purchases will be calculated. Additionally, with each purchase, your accumulated points balance will print out at the end of your sales receipt.

Q. Can I choose a 13th free food product that is more than the average calculated price of my 12 previous purchases?
A. Yes, you will just pay the difference in price.

Q. Can I accumulate a 3% reward for food?
A: Yes, only if it is NOT a Participating Rewards Brand.

Q. Why are some brands included and others are not?
A. Some manufacturers have chosen not to participate. However, you will earn 3% on non-participating Rewards food brands.

Q. I purchase a few different kinds of foods. How will I know how many points I have accumulated for each brand?
A. With each purchase, your accumulated points balance will print out at the end of your sales receipt showing brand and species.

Q: Do raw case discounts still apply?
A. No. This is because you will receive your 13th free product reward.

Q. I do not see the pet food I purchase on the list of Participating Rewards Brands. Will I receive points for these food purchases?
A. Yes, as with supplies, you will earn a 3% reward. You will accumulate one point for every dollar you spend. When you accumulate 300 points, you will earn a $10 reward coupon.

Q. What if I am currently saving towards a “free” bag through a vendor Frequent Buyer program?
A. You may continue to use your paper cards. Once they are full and submitted for free food, our
system will keep track. Cards will not be necessary with the new program.

Supplies
Q: How will I earn a 3% reward on supplies?
A. You will accumulate one point for every dollar you spend. When you accumulate 300 points, you will earn a $10 reward coupon. It will print out at the end of your sales receipt.

Grooming
Q. How will I earn rewards for grooming and receive my 10th basic grooming free?
A. A coupon for your free 10th grooming will print out at the end of your sales receipt (base price only; extra services not included).

Dog Training
Q. How will I earn rewards for dog training and receive a discount?
A. You will automatically receive $10 off the second and all subsequent four to seven-week dog training classes.

General
Q. Can I accumulate a 3% reward for grooming and dog training?

A. No, that would be double points. Grooming and dog training have their own rewards program.

Q. I am a senior citizen and currently receive a 10% discount on products and grooming. Can I choose to opt out of the Companion Rewards program?
A. Yes, a senior citizen (65 and older) can opt out and receive a 10% discount on all product purchases. You are also eligible to receive the 10th basic grooming free as well as $10 off the second and all subsequent four to seven-week dog training classes.

Q. I just adopted a pet and understand you give a 10% discount on all products and services for one month from adoption with proof from the rescue. How does that work with the new program?
A. Tell the sales associate about your new adoption (proper documentation required) and she will set you up as a rescue customer. You will still accumulate points on your purchases and receive all the benefits of the Rewards program plus 10% for 30 days after your adoption.

Q. I am a foster parent and continuously have pets in my care. Can I opt out of your program in order to receive the 10% Foster discount?
A. Yes, but when you opt out, you are opting out of the free 13th product reward, free 10th grooming and $10 dog training class discount. You will receive 10% off on all purchases.

Q. Will I accumulate points on sale items?
A. Yes.

Q: What happens to my points when I return merchandise?
A. If merchandise is returned, points earned for that purchase will be deducted from your account.

Q: Will I earn rewards when I purchase a gift card?
A. No, however you will earn rewards when you use a gift card to pay for product and service purchases.

Coupon Redemption

Q. How will I receive my rewards?
A. When you earn a reward, the sales associate will inform you and a coupon will print out at the end of your sales receipt. This coupon can be used for a subsequent purchase.

Q. Can the coupon be used with my current purchase?
A. No, the coupon must be used on a subsequent purchase. If you would like to make another purchase immediately following the printing of the coupon, you may use the coupon for that purchase.

Q. How do I use my coupon?
A. Present your coupon at checkout. The associate will scan the coupon and the discount will be automatically applied.

Q. Can I use more than one coupon per purchase?
A. Yes, as long as the coupons are for different rewards (for example, a grooming coupon and a food coupon).

Q. Do coupons expire?
A. Yes, they are valid for six months from the date of issue.

Q. What happens if I lose my coupon?
A. Lost coupon(s) are not redeemable. It is the customer's responsibility to carefully keep track of her coupon(s). Coupons must be present to redeem.

Q. Can I use my food coupon for another brand of food?
A. No, coupons are brand specific and can only be used for the brand of food for which you earned the reward.

Q. What if the purchased food is greater in price than the coupon value?
A. The food purchase will be discounted to the coupon value.

Q: What if the purchased food is less in price than the coupon value?
A. The coupon must be used in full otherwise the remainder will be lost.

Q. Can I give away my coupon(s) to family, friends, and rescues?
A. Yes.
