while training Jasper, her Goldon Setter for competitive
obedience.

Arnold and locally with Laurie Hine.

Margie - Trainer
Margie
started as a young girl working with her uncle and his Labradors in
field work and hunting. She has three Labradors, including a new
chocolate pup that she is preparing for the obedience ring, agility
ring, and field work. Margie has trained a wide variety of breeds, and
has been teaching dog obedience classes for over 15 years. She has
competed in obedience and the field.
Her philosophy is one based on positive motivation and establishing a
deep life long connection and bond with your dog. Training should
always be fun for both the dog and owner.
Margie really enjoys helping her students understand what their dogs
are thinking, and teaching them how to interpret their dog's body
language and vocals sounds. In essence, she gets her students to think
like a dog. Both dog and owner will be able to communicate better with
each other which will develop a stronger and more meaningful
relationship, not to mention, a well trained dog. |
