  • “I asked Lib where can I find the bitter apple spray, and I told her that our ex vet suggested using Right Guard deodorant spray to deter out furbabies from nibbling on cords. Needless to say, she was SHOCKED, as was the woman behind the register. You should have a rating of 10+, because I was treated so wonderfully. Really. Ben and I have two furbabies, and right now Ms. Lucy is quite ill, and happily she is turning the corner. The sales people in your store CARE, and in today's world where everyone is RUSHING TO GO NOWHERE. I was treated with such kindness and respect. You guys have soooo many wonderful things; so much better than Petco, and some other pet store that is in Waltham.” - Dineece J.

Busy pet parents need a safe and productive place to leave their dog during the day. The Especially for Pets Day School is a unique alternative to daycare that offers dog owners the opportunity to enroll their dogs in a comprehensive and individualized program. Our professional dog trainers combine the best aspects of training, enrichment and socialization. Low student to instructor ratios ensure that your dog’s experience is productive and positive.

Every canine student participates in a personalized training program. Our enrollment process begins with an initial intake consultation in which we discuss your goals and evaluate your dog's temperament. This will help us develop a training plan that supports your efforts in class and at home. Like you, we want your dog to be the best he can be, therefore, your input is extremely important to us. This joint effort will ensure your dog will have a unique and stimulating experience!

Give us a call for a private tour or to register for an intake consultation in Shrewsbury at 508.365.1251 or Sudbury at 978.443.7682.

Consultation & Evaluation ($45 Fee)
The first step to Day School enrollment is scheduling a consultation and evaluation with one of our instructors. This 30-minute meeting will include an evaluation of your dog and a discussion about your specific needs and expectations. Our goal is to work with you to create the most effective training plan for your dog. (Should you need to cancel your consultation, please contact us a minimum of 24 hours in advance and we will either reschedule or issue you a refund.)

Orientation Phase
During the first four visits in Day School, your dog will be in an Orientation Phase in which we will begin training and continue to evaluate your dog. At the end of the Orientation Phase, our Day School Manager will create a written recommendation for your dog's Training Plan.

Daily Sign-Up

In order to reserve your dog's place for a particular day and time, please call the store. Enrollment is limited in order to adhere to our low student to instructor ratio. Payment must be made upon registration.
