Jaye's approach to training is a uniquely behavior-based method with a deep understanding of canine psychology and an extensive knowledge and love of how people learn. She approaches every class looking for ways to tailor techniques so they work best at both ends of the leash. Jaye is currently studying for her second bachelor’s degree, one in animal behavior. She has been teaching people professionally her entire life. Her passion finally found a home with dogs and their humans—a good fit as she has worked with dogs in many professional capacities including daycare, dog walking, shelters, and hands-on study with different trainers and behaviorists. She has also worked as a veterinary technician in small animal practice and college-level scientific coursework. Jaye and her Cardigan Welsh Corgi, “Kerbal" (CGCA) teach classes together and compete in various dog sports. Jaye is an AKC Approved CGC Evaluator and serves on the board of the Charles River Dog Training Club, one of the oldest obedience clubs in the country.
