Alea began her career at Especially For Pets in 2013. In 2015, she earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology, shaping her degree around behavior modification, pet facilitated therapy and the bond between people and their pets. In addition to training her own dogs, Alea has been an apprentice under a number of professional trainers. She has also provided dog walking and pet sitting services for years. Alea is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. She is the proud owner of a two year-old rescued Australian Shepherd named Zelda, who she is training to become a therapy dog. Alea teaches classes at our Acton and Westborough locations and is an apprentice trainer at our Day School in Sudbury.
